In Italy now (Brescia) funniesing it up with my mums aunty. Pretty mad - only arrived yesterday so am pretty tired still. Switz was mad!! Such beatiful scenery! Mad countryside! Went to Mount Doom (Or the Matterhorn, as its also known) to cast the One Ring into the fiery chasm from whence it came!!!

True, Norway is the land of the midnight sun due to extended periods of almost constant sunlight - but in summer! and thats furthere north not in oslo. In winter its the oposite, mad darkness at 3:30pm in Oslo - and perpetual nightime up north!

Yes, it's to do with the extreme latitude of northeren Norway where it is very close to the Arctic circle and the tilt of the earth's axis - as it rotates, one side is more exposed to the sun, hence = very long daylight hours.

Anyway, slideshow of wisdom will probablie be the best way to convey the visual experience (also so much has happened that I'm not likely to remember it all without visual cues). Remember how over 700 photos?? DONE!! And super slow slideshow at 45 seconds per photo = mad torture!!
